Filmmaker Zhongyi Ban will be there for discussion. We would be delighted to see you there!<\/p>\n<p>The film is in Japanese\/Chinese with English subtitles. The discussion will be held in Japanese\/German, summary translations into English can be provided.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00bbWe have to win back the truth.\u00ab<br \/>\nAihua Wan, survivor of the &#8222;comfort women&#8220;-system of the Japanese Army<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n<p>In German<\/p>\n<pre><strong>\u00bbWir m\u00fcssen die Wahrheit zur\u00fcckerobern\u00ab<\/strong>\r\n<strong>Aihua Wan, \u00dcberlebende des \u00bbComfort Women\u00ab-Systems der japanischen Armee<\/strong><\/pre>\n<p>Zwischen 1932 und 1945 zwang die japanische Armee Zahntausende Frauen und M\u00e4dchen aus 14 L\u00e4ndern in die sexuelle Versklavung in so genannten \u00bbcomfort stations\u00ab f\u00fcr ihre Soldaten. In \u00bbGive me the Sun\u00ab stellt der Regisseur Zhongyi Ban sieben \u00fcberlebende Frauen in China vor, die er auf Reisen durch die Provinz Shanxi kennengelernt hat.<\/p>\n<p>Seit \u00fcber 18 Jahre begleitet er sie, f\u00fchrt Gespr\u00e4che und Interviews. Einige von ihnen wurden unter T\u00e4uschung und falschen Versprechungen angeworben, andere wurden entf\u00fchrt, gefoltert und in einer nahe gelegenen \u201ecomfort station\u201c sexuell versklavt. Nach dem Ende des Kriegs lebten viele der Frauen am Rande der Gesellschaft in Armut.<\/p>\n<p>Zhongyi Ban spricht auch mit Familienangeh\u00f6rigen, Nachbarn und ehemaligen japanischen Soldaten, die sich vor der Kamera \u00fcber ihren Einsatz in China \u00e4u\u00dfern.
